Welcome

Spokane Falls

Essentials

The gateway to the Inland Northwest, Spokane is the largest city on the northern tier between Minneapolis and Seattle and the second largest city in Washington.

From the golden wheat fields of the Palouse to the iconic Spokane Falls to the high peaks of North Idaho, the Spokane region boasts a rich landscape. Its myriad of lakes and rivers offer hours of fun for boaters, skiers, fishermen and swimmers. Its four seasons are marked by mild summers, crisp and colorful falls, white winters and blossom-filled springs. In winter, avid skiers can tackle the mountain slopes, then shed their boots, grab their bikes and hit the trails in spring.

With annual community events, arts and cultural fairs, entertainment and strong schools, Spokane is a great place for families.

Economically, the region’s industries include a mix of traditional forestry and mining to growing high-tech, aerospace and health sectors. And its cost of living and affordable housing can’t be beat.
