The Rockwood Health System, including Deaconess Hospital, Valley Hospital and Rockwood Clinic, is the Inland Northwest’s only integrated healthcare delivery system. Deaconess Hospital is an acute care facility with a Level III Trauma Center, a certified chest pain center, an accredited primary stroke center and the area’s only nationally accredited bariatric surgery center. The hospital also features a maternal fetal medicine program and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Valley Hospital is an accredited acute care facility with a Level-III Trauma Center, accredited chest pain center and provides the area’s only joint commission-certified knee and hip replacement program.
The largest freestanding outpatient diagnostic and treatment center between Central Washington and Minneapolis, Rockwood Clinic operates 12 primary clinical locations to provide medical, urgent and specialty care throughout Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.
Spokane’s Shriners Hospitals for Children provides comprehensive medical, surgical and rehabilitative care to children with club foot, burns, cleft lip and palate, orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal disorders and diseases. It’s one of just 22 Shriner’s hospitals in North America.
Specializing in comprehensive therapy, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute is the only Level 1 trauma rehab center in Spokane. It’s also Washington’s largest provider of rehabilitation services for stroke, spinal cord injury, head injury and injury or diseases to bones, joints or muscles.
Coeur d’Alene’s 254-bed Kootenai Health provides comprehensive medical care to patients in North Idaho, Eastern Washington and Montana at several locations.
North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls provides long-term acute care and critical care services. Northwest Specialty Hospital is a 21-bed facility with the region’s only open-air MRI. Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest is the only freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital in Post Falls.
Inland Imaging has more than 60 radiologists and 500 staff members, and provides business services, physician staffing, imaging centers and development and design of specific health care software for hospitals and imaging centers.
Providing specialized testing, Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) is considered to be an industry leader in joint venture partnerships with community-based hospitals and is ranked among the top reference laboratories in the nation.
Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS) works in collaboration with hospitals and health care services providing rural outreach to reduce health care costs.
