Innovative Programs
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a nonprofit organization offering a program that prepares middle and high school students with a rigorous Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) curriculum in pre-engineering and bioscience. Many of the Spokane-area’s schools utilize the program, and Washington State University Spokane is the curriculum’s regional training affiliate.
FIRST Robotics is a New Hampshire-based nonprofit organization that promotes robotics competitions for school-age children throughout the country. Its mission is to inspire youths to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills.
