Spokane is 300 miles west of Seattle and 30 miles from Idaho. Three states and Canada are visible from the top of Mt. Spokane, one of the tallest peaks in the Inland Northwest.

According to the 2013 U.S. Census Bureau figures, the Spokane-Coeur d’Alene area has a combined population of more than 620,000 people, ranking it as the 87th most populous metropolitan area in the United States. And the region is constantly growing. Last year the city of Spokane grew by 1,300 and close to 1,000 new residents called Spokane Valley home.
